Parser functions

I tried using {{#if}} in Template:Infobox but it didn't seem to work. Trying other parser functions like {{#time}} didn't seem to display anything either. Have parser functions not been set up yet? I'm not familiar with MediaWiki internals, but as far as I can tell it's an extension that you have to activate. If this can be enabled then please do so, so that I can fix the bug with the infobox (unless there's a way to do it without using an if function). — roxwize [ talk ] 14:24, 21 February 2024 (EST)

Another thing, do you think you could look into enabling citations as well, since they seem to be frequently used on many pages, but as just regular external links? — roxwize [ talk ] 14:36, 21 February 2024 (EST)

DMY / MDY?

I figure, for future consistency, we should decide on whether dates will be formatted as day-month-year or month-day-year. We could do what Wikipedia does and have it depend on the article but there's no point in that. I'm in support of DMY being the date "standard". Thoughts? We could put it to a vote.
