Peel Session is the first of two live sessions EPs by Autechre released on Warp Records The tracks were debuted on John Peel's show on August 30th, 1995, and later released on January 11, 1999.
Tracks
Milk DX
- In his July 2022 AMA, Sean said that the track name came from a Yamaha DX100 patch that sounded like the rapper Milk Dee.[1]
Inhake 2
Drane
- In the ASCAP Repertory, "Drane" has an alternate title "Drane (Sleight Return)", possibly referencing Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)." [2]
- In response to "Drane", Aphex Twin made "Bucephalus Bouncing Ball". Autechre, in response, made "Drane2" which was released on LP5. [3]
