When it came time to reissue the tracks for ''[[EPs 1991 - 2002]]'', the 3 tracks that were not remixed by Autechre were not included.

Basscad,EP, otherwise known as Basscadet Mixes, Basscadetmxs or just Basscadet, is the first EP by Autechre released on Warp Records, consisting of remixes of Basscadet from Incunabula. It was originally released on April 25th, 1994.[1]

History

Basscad,EP is the only Autechre record to feature tracks that were not primarily made by Autechre, having remixing (or "Reproduced" as credits list it) and some addition production done by Beaumont Hannant ("Beaumonthannanttwomx" and "12/4cadetmx") and Seefeel's Mark Clifford ("Seefeelmx").

When it came time to reissue the tracks for EPs 1991 - 2002, the 3 tracks that were not remixed by Autechre were not included.

  • "Bcdtmx" went on to be used for a segment in Warp's Artificial Intelligence mixtape video.[2] It was also shown off on its own as the "Basscadet" music video on MTV.[3]
